The Fam

My family is temper-mental, half temper and half mental.

For this blog post, I want to put in a letter that I wrote for a school project when i was 10.  It doesn’t really talk about my immediate family but i just thought it was so sweet.

Dear, Bobba and Poppa

I am so grateful to have you in my life.  You have always supported me with my decisions and made me feel confident.  You showed me how to be a good person and nice to others.

Whenever mom and dad go away you are always the ones to take care of us.  I am thankful that you are so involved and you’re not those grandparents who only send cards and never see their grandchildren.  Even though you live 6 hours away, you always come to watch our piano recitals. You come to some of our hockey games and cheer us on, and even if we lose, you are proud of us.

Bobba, you always do fun crafts with us and teach us how to bake cool things.  Poppa, you bought us a go cart and you made us a whole train to play on. You also teach us many new songs.

Whenever we go to see you in Moose Jaw you always make sure that we get plenty of treats.  You take us to many awesome places, like to see Warrior games and you show us Pasqua. I also  love it when you take us camping.

The holidays in Moose Jaw are always the best.  During Christmas we watch movies and open presents and visit with family, during easter and thanksgiving we have a big dinner and hunt for eggs, and sometimes color them.

Overall I am just so lucky to have you and Moose Jaw!

See you soon!

Love, Abby
