Hockey

School is important but hockey is importanter!

Hockey, the best sport in the world.  And the only sport that I play personally.  I think the reason I love hockey so much is because 1: there is 5 pounds of equipment protecting me from my own clumsiness, and 2: because you don’t have to run and 3: because i have made some of my best friends through hockey.  When I was younger I would always be sad when I didn’t make the A1 team, but as I got older, I realized that playing A2 has been the best thing ever. On A2, yeah we were competitive but we had more fun at all the windups and christmas parties then we did actually playing hockey.  Now that I’m on the SJR team, I can see the difference between community A2 and highschool and although they both have there perks, I will never forget the good times I had playing A2. Anyways, thank you hockey for making me realize being on the best team doesn’t matter if you’re not having fun.
